RESUMO
O presente estudo busca investigar o trato da sistematização
da Educação Física como área de conhecimento no século XX no Brasil.
Sistematização essa desencadeada na Europa, com a Revolução Industrial,
Francesa e o avanço científico. Elaborou-se então o seguinte problema: Como se
deu o processo de sistematização da Educação Física como área de conhecimento
no século XX no Brasil? Com isso pretende-se analisar algumas obras que tratam
do assunto, identificar e reconhecer algumas tendências epistemológicas que
fundamentaram essas sistematizações. A relevância central deste estudo esta:
nas poucas obras que tratam sobre a temática, necessidade de aprofundamento nas
questões relacionadas à Educação Física, função social da Faculdade; que é a
construção de conhecimentos científicos, desejo de se conhecer a realidade
objetiva da Educação Física como área de conhecimento, possibilidade de se
transformar a realidade com o novo conhecimento e finalmente o desejo maior de
descobrir algo mais avançado sobre a sistematização da Educação Física como
área de conhecimento. Para a efetivação de tamanho trato, fez-se uso dos
princípios da pesquisa qualitativa, das técnicas da
pesquisa bibliográfica, bem como, da analise e seleção dos textos mais
adequados, para fundamentação da obra prevista. Como recorte temporal de
publicação se investigara os períodos que abrange: 1960-1980.Concluiu-se
que houve a
utilização de conhecimento de outras áreas para a construção de saberes para a
Educação Física, sendo essa sistematização marcada por muitos debates, dando
origem a três tendências distintas; com caráter biológico, psico educacional e
social político. Estabeleceu-se conceitos e definições sobre a Educação Física,
a sistematização foi desde uma organização de simples atividades físicas a
formulação de teorias educacionais.

ABSTRACT
The present study aims to investigate the dealings of the systematization of Physical Education as an area of knowledge in the twentieth century in Brazil. Systematization this triggered in Europe, with the Industrial Revolution, French and scientific advancement. Then elaborated the following problem: How was the process of systematization of physical education as a field of knowledge in the twentieth century in Brazil? With this we intend to analyze some works dealing with the subject, identify and recognize some trends that underlie this epistemological systematization. The central relevance of this study: the few works that deal with the subject, in need of further issues related to Physical Education, Faculty of social function, which is the construction of scientific knowledge, desire to know the objective reality of physical education as area of knowledge, possibility of becoming reality with the new knowledge and ultimately the greatest desire to discover something more advanced on the systematization of physical education as a field of knowledge. For implementation of tract size, made use of the principles of qualitative research techniques of literature, as well as the analysis and selection of the most appropriate texts for reasons of the work provided. As of publication time frame is investigated covering the periods: 1960 - 1980. Conclusion up there was the use of knowledge from other areas to build knowledge for Physical Education, and this systematization marked by many debates, giving rise to three distinct trends, with biological character, educational psycho social and political. It was established concepts and definitions on Physical Education, systematization was from an organization of simple physical activities formulating educational theories.
